Who we are

LH Educational Services Ltd are a team of qualified, diligent and professional teachers all with years of leadership experience, exam success and curriculum development.

We teach in a number of football academies providing supplementary education to students around their sporting commitments. 

We are experts in a range of subject areas including Maths, English, Science, Languages and Primary provision. We value young people immensely and have a genuine love for teaching - our classrooms are vibrant and our lessons are engaging. Our teaching is rooted in subject knowledge and our curriculums are designed with progress in mind - we are proud to have been operating as LHES for nearly ten years.

What we do

Quality teaching is at the heart of everything we do. We ensure that students are consistently engaged, challenged and progressing as a result of the provision we are providing. Whether you operate a hybrid day release training model or a full time one, we are familiar with the unique environment of sporting institutions and are dedicated to ensuring lessons work harmoniously alongside sporting commitments.

An example of some of the provision we offer is as below:

  • GCSE English, Maths and Science (small group lessons, 1:1).

  • History, RE, and Humanities (small group lessons, 1:1).

  • ESOL lessons (English as a second language).

  • Functional Skills in English and Maths.

  • BTEC in Sport.

  • American SAT/ACT preparation.

  • Literacy development for staff and coaches.

  • 1:1 subject specific tuition across a range of subjects.

"We have worked with LHES for a number of years to help support our players in achieving academic success. More specifically, we have worked with English and Maths tutors who have played a vital role in supporting the players on our hybrid model as part of our Day Release programme. Their dedicated and personable approach, alongside a passion for teaching and a detailed understanding of working with young athletes, have all contributed to ensuring there is a challenging yet supportive learning environment.
LHES offer a bespoke curriculum for English and Maths which allows for quality teaching and learning to take place, rather than students bringing work from school to complete. The tutors quickly establish relationships with the players to create an openness to ask questions, offer detailed feedback and provide intervention and tailored support where needed. 
We have also worked with LHES to support those players who didn't pass their GCSEs in Year 11. The tutors worked with a small group each week, over a season, to help address any misconceptions and prepare them for the re-sits. It was fantastic to have the flexibility of the tutors to work around an-already busy football schedule to ensure we still met on a regular basis. 
In recent years, we have worked with LHES to support players undertaking a Maths A Level. Again, through expert teaching and in-depth knowledge of exams boards, techniques and preparation, our players secured fantastic results in their final exams. 
It has been a pleasure to work with Lauren and the team throughout my time at the club so far and to lean on her guidance and experience to help facilitate the best programme for our boys. I would absolutely recommend LHES to any club who are looking to enhance their education programme."
